Freshman (2005-06): Placed sixth in the 400 IM at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 4:08.71 ... also swam the 200 IM (1:57.28) and 200 back (1:59.57) at the conference championships and posted his fastest times of the season ... advanced to the B-final of both events to place 12th and 13th, respectively.
