Know Before You Go: Football vs. Navy

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic hosts Navy at Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on Saturday in the American Conference opener for both programs. The Owls' annual Salute to Service game is sponsored by Flager Credit Union and kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
On the weekend FAU is celebrating Salute to Service and honoring the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, a number of activities and activations are planned in and around the stadium to honor those that have served or are actively serving our nation.
General public tickets start at $15 and can be purchased here, or by calling 1-866-FAU-OWLS. To avoid lines and increased charges, buy your tickets in advance. Tickets for FAU students are free and can be claimed by clicking here. To avoid congestion at the gates, fans are encouraged to download their tickets digitally on a smartphone or mobile device.
Fans should arrive early as pregame festivities include a pregame flyover from HSM-72 -- a naval helicopter squadron from Naval Air Station Jacksonville, along with a performance from the Marching Owls and the national anthem performance from Jillian Flaherty alongside a giant American flag on the field.
Other events happening during the game include a recognition for local first responders and those in active duty. A military swearing-in ceremony will occur in the second quarter, while an array of military and first responder vehicles and activations will be located in Publix Paradise Plaza near Gates 1 and 2. Publix Paradise Plaza opens to fans at 5 p.m. and includes inflatables, food trucks, games, giveaways and sponsor activations. The Owls Pregame Live concert, featuring Homegrown, a Zac Brown tribute band, starts playing at 5:30 p.m.
Tailgating may begin when parking lots open at 3:30 p.m. (four hours prior to kickoff), and don't miss the first Owl Walk of the year at 5:15 p.m. – as the team unloads the buses and walks through the Student Tailgates in Lot 5 before entering the team. Click here to buy parking in advance.
General stadium gates open at 10:30 a.m., with some premium access gates opening earlier. Flagler Credit Union Stadium operates with a Clear Bag policy. The National Guard will be stationed in the Fan Zone handing out 2,000 clear bags on Saturday.

OWL WALK
- Join us for the Owl Walk! The journey will begin at the student tailgating lot in Lot 5. The team will make its way through the student tailgates before heading towards Gate 5 of the stadium. The team is set to arrive around 5:15 p.m. We'll see you out there!

- NEW FOR 2026!: Two concessions locations in the stadium are Paradise Pricing stands (behind sections 215 and 229) offering a discounted combo for a low price. You can purchase the combo meal voucher in advance for $10 ($12 day of the game). Redeem the voucher for your choice of a hot dog, BBQ sandwich or walking taco PLUS chips, cookie or candy PLUS a beverage. The ala cart price for those items is $19.
