GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's golf (+66) completed play at the Gators Invitational on Sunday in 13th place. Freshman Tina Genoulaz vaulted up the leaderboard with a career-best round of 68 (-2). Tournament hosts, Florida, won the team competition at -20, led by individual medalist Paula Francisco (-10).

Quick Hits

Genoulaz jumped 30 places on the leaderboard thanks to a final round that included five birdies.
Beginning her day on the 17th hole with a shotgun start, the freshman stormed out of the gate with birdies on three of her first four holes.
After a setback at the third hole, she bounced back to birdie the sixth and eighth holes.
Nancy Cox also had a solid day on Sunday, signing for a final round 71.
Cox narrowly missed a Top 25, finishing at +7 for the tournament in a tie for 26th.

What's Next
The Owls will head to the desert for their next event. The PING/ASU Invitational is set for March 23-25 in Phoenix, Arizona.
