Coaches Radio Show Wednesday at Duffy's

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy's Sports Grill, returns Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Duffy's Sports Grill of Boca Raton, located at 21212 St. Andrews Boulevard in Boca Raton. The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on Fox Sports 640 South Florida.
The voice of the men's basketball team, Ken LaVicka, will host. Joining LaVicka will be two members of the men's hoops staff, Head Coach John Jakus and junior guard Kanaan Carlyle. Also on the show will be senior Daniel Laureyssens from the men's swimming and diving team.
The Owls will take on Temple on Abessino Court at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. for 'Vice Night'. Also joining LaVicka on the show, fresh off leading Florida Atlantic to its first ever men's swimming and diving conference championship, winning the ASUN, is Daniel Laureyssens. The senior from Belgium is having a historic season for FAU. After winning one individual gold medal and six total medals at the 2025 ASUN championships, Laureyssens wrapped up this year's championship meet with three individual gold medals, five total gold medals, and was honored as the male most outstanding swimmer. This past weekend, in the 50 free and 200 free, he qualified for the NCAA championships, the first male Owl to do so since 2006. Carlyle is the only Owl on the squad with 500 career points. He has totaled 315 points and 72 assists thus far.
