Parker Receives Fourth Freshman of the Week Award

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic's men's basketball guard Josiah Parker was named the American Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season, announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

The Ohio native Parker picked up his fourth Freshman of the Week award to lead the conference with the most awards in the category.

Parker led Florida Atlantic this week in boards with a total of 19 rebounds. He recorded 36 points, five assists, a block, and a steal. With both outings this week, he averaged 18 points per game. He led the Owls with 21 points and 14 rebounds for the second double-double of his career at Memphis. His 14 boards were the most rebounds by an Owl since 2023 and by a freshman since 2018.
