Florida Atlantic Coaches Show Presented by Duffy’s

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy's Sports Grill, is back on Thursday, Feb. 19, at Duffy's Sports Grill of Boca Raton, located at 21212 St. Andrews Boulevard in Boca Raton. The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on Fox Sports 640 South Florida.
The Host/Producer of Inside the Owls' Burrow TV Show, Frank Forte will host Thursday's show which will feature Head Women's Basketball Coach LeAnn Freeland and Head Cross Country & Women's Track & Field Coach Alex Smolka.
The Florida Atlantic women's basketball team has won three of its last four games, including victories over UAB, Wichita State, and Tulsa. The Owls will head to Tampa, Florida, next as they get set to take on the South Florida Bulls on Saturday, Feb. 21. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Yuengling Center, on ESPN+.
Smolka has been at Florida Atlantic for the past 34 years and has been the head coach of both cross country and track & field since 2002. The Owls have started off the 2026 indoor track and field season with multiple new program records and personal bests. FAU will travel to Birmingham next week to compete in the 2026 American Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 27-28. Following the championships, FAU will begin the outdoor season on March 21 at the University of Miami in Coral Gables.
Fans can listen to the show live on the Florida Atlantic Sports Network, FOX Sports 640 South Florida. Fans are encouraged to attend and listen live on Thursday while enjoying Duffy's dinner and beverage specials.
