BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball guard
Erin Rodgers had another impressive week, earning American Conference Honorable Mention honors for the second time this season, as announced by the league office on Monday.
The selection marks the fifth American weekly award for the Owls this season and Erin's fifth career conference honor and her second honorable mention selection.
Erin Rodgers had another impressive week, helping lead the Owls to a pair of wins against Wichita State and Tulsa. Rodgers scored 35 points on the week, averaging 17.5 points per game, in addition to recording six rebounds, four blocks, three steals, and an assist across the two contests. Against Wichita State, Rodgers scored the game-winning and-1 and the game-sealing block to secure the overtime win. She posted a career second-best 24 points, marking her fourth career 20-point game, shooting 8-of-16 from the field, 1-of-3 from beyond the arc, and connecting on a career-best seven free throws, along with two blocks, two boards, and an assist. She closed out the week with 11 points, shooting 5-of-12 from the field and adding a free throw, to go along with four rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in the Owls' win over Tulsa.
