Coach Jakus Meets with Media on Tuesday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's basketball Head Coach John Jakus met with the media on Tuesday to discuss this week's American Conference games against Wichita State and Temple.
Jakus spoke about the Owls' great week, as FAU went 2-0 against UAB and Memphis, which resulted in junior guard Kanaan Carlyle being named the American Player of the Week. FAU will host the Shockers for the third annual 'Sandstorm' on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. on ESPN2. The Owls will then travel to Philadelphia to take on Temple on Sunday, Jan. 18, with a noon tip-off on ESPNU to close out the third week of conference play.
