Volleyball Announces 2025 Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Volleyball announced its 2025 season schedule on Wednesday, highlighted by 15 regular-season home matches and two tournaments at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. The Owls' 2025 schedule also features a 16-match American Athletic Conference regular season schedule.
"Coming off a fantastic year and a run to the conference championship, we're building on that momentum with a strong preseason schedule designed to challenge us from day one," Head Coach Fernanda Nelson expressed. "The American is an elite volleyball conference, and every match prepares us for the level of play we'll face in the AAC. We're hungry, focused, and ready to compete at the highest level in 2025."
Prior to kicking off the 2025 season, the Owls will compete in their annual Red vs. Blue match on Saturday, Aug. 16, before closing out preseason play with an exhibition matchup against Miami Dade on Saturday, Aug. 23.
FAU will kick off its season in Paradise, hosting Kent State, Texas Tech, and Western Carolina in the Florida Atlantic Invitational on Aug. 29-30.
The Owls will wrap up their season-opening four-game homestand with a midweek battle against North Florida on Sept. 2.
Florida Atlantic will hit the road for the first time in 2025, traveling to Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the Michigan Invitational, facing off against Marshall, host Michigan, and Southern Indiana on Sept. 5-6.
The Owls return to the Sunshine State to compete in the UCF Invitational against Arkansas State, Brown, and host UCF on Sept. 12-13.
FAU will host the Owls Paradise Classic Sept. 19-20 to close out its non-conference schedule, welcoming George Washington, Stetson, and Bethune-Cookman.
The Owls will kick off their American Athletic Conference schedule on the road, taking on reigning AAC regular season champion South Florida for a midweek matchup on Sept. 24.
Florida Atlantic will open its AAC home slate with a two-game homestand, welcoming East Carolina on Sept. 28 and North Texas on October 3.
Florida Atlantic will head back on the road for a three-game road stretch beginning with Temple on Oct. 5. The Owls head to Charlotte on Oct. 10, before closing out their road trek on Oct. 12 at East Carolina.
The Owls return to Paradise on Oct. 17 and 19 for another two-game homestand, taking on Temple and Charlotte, respectively.
FAU heads back on the road to take on Memphis on Oct. 24 and closes out the road swing on Oct. 26 at UAB.
The Owls will close out October and open the month of November at home, taking on reigning AAC Tournament champion Wichita State on Oct. 31 and before facing off against Tulsa on Nov. 2.
Florida Atlantic will wrap up its regular season road schedule with a two-game road trip beginning with Tulane on Nov. 7 and concluding with its road finale on Nov. 9 at Rice.
The Owls will conclude the regular season at home, hosting South Florida on Nov. 12 and UTSA for senior day on Nov. 14.
The 2025 AAC Tournament, hosted by South Florida, will be held on November 21-23 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa. The 2025 NCAA season will conclude with the NCAA Tournament national championship on Dec. 21 in Kansas City, Mo.
