Owls Lead in Estero After 36 Holes

ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf (-6) holds a seven-shot lead after the first day of the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate. Guilherme Grinberg is tied for the individual lead at -5. The final round begins at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

After rounds of 69 and 70, Grinberg is tied with FGCU's Nolan Harper at the top of the leaderboard.
Grinberg's opening round included five birdies. He added another four birdies and an eagle in the afternoon.
Fresh off his first individual victory, NaShawn Tyson (-2) is tied for third – only three behind Grinberg and Harper.
Freshman Biagio Gagliardi opened with a 73 (+1) but rebounded in the second round with six birdies en route to a 71 (-1). Gagliardi is tied for eighth.
