ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf will compete in its final regular season spring event beginning Monday in Estero, Fla. The Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate will be a two-day, 54-hole event contested at Old Corkscrew Country Club and hosted by Florida Gulf Coast.
The Owls finished fourth in their last event two weeks ago led by an individual victory from
NaShawn Tyson. The sophomore broke several program records on his way to a seven-shot win. Tyson will lead the lineup again this week followed by
Jake Hibbert,
Biagio Gagliardi,
Andres Atrio, and
Guilherme Grinberg.
The first round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Round two will follow immediately after. Tuesday's final round will start at 8 a.m. The Owls will be paired in foursomes with Jacksonville for the first two rounds.
Old Corkscrew CC will play as a par 72 at 7,393 yards.
The field includes 10 teams and 61 individuals. No. 50 FGCU is the highest-ranked team in the field.
