Owls Return to Gainesville for Celebration Pointe

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team returns to Gainesville for the third time this season, this time for the Celebration Pointe meet on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.
The Owls return up north for the third time this season for one of the last two meets before the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships starting on Friday, Feb. 28 through Saturday, Mar. 1 in Birmingham, Alabama. Florida Atlantic will start the meet with the 5000-meter at 9 a.m..

- To kick off the 2025 RADD Florida Invitational, Andi VanMeter and Isabel O'Brien set new program records in the 5000-meter. VanMeter registered at No. 7 in program history with a time of 17:40.91, while O'Brien claimed No. 9.
- Freshman Kayla Hopkins is now tied for No. 9 in the record books after she recorded a 7.64 in the 60-meter dash
- Florida Atlantic had three in the top 10 (Constance Pittet, Jessica Hatch and Elyssa Toal) once again, this time in the 800-meter run.
- Pittet wrote her name in another event in program history in the 800-meter after she registered a 2:12.41
- To close out the day Jada Bolhuis, Adrianna Mier, Sofia Molina, and Rosa ten Berg placed second in the 4x4 with a 4:00.72
