Annual Sandstorm Game Set for Feb. 10 vs. Charlotte

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic has announced its second annual "Sandstorm" game, which is set for Monday, Feb. 10 when the men's basketball team hosts Charlotte at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. The game, part of ESPN's Big Monday package, airs nationally on ESPN2 at 9 p.m.

Thanks to Florida Atlantic's renowned MBA Sport Management program and the university's Student Government Association, custom sand-colored t-shirts will be on every seat in the Elly when fans arrive for Monday's game. In conjunction, the team is set to wear its special sand-colored Adidas jerseys. FAU enjoys one of the most electric home-court environments in the country, and the annual "Sandstorm" game is both a nod to the Elly's unique atmosphere and its paradise location.

In the thick of the American Conference race, the Owls (12-10, 5-4) have won three of their last four overall, including two straight dominant home wins over UTSA, 94-74, and USF, 94-72.
