Owls Open Spring Campaign in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf will start the spring season at the Sea Best Invitational in Atlantic Beach, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday. Jacksonville University will host the two-day event at Atlantic Beach Country Club.

The Lineup

Sophomore NaShawn Tyson will lead the lineup, followed by freshman Biagio Gagliardi and sophomore Andres Atrio. Seniors Jake Hibbert and Guilherme Grinberg round out the final two spots.

Play will begin on Monday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The Owls will be paired with Lipscomb and North Alabama.

The Field

The field features 13 teams and 75 individual competitors. Florida is the highest ranked team in the field at No. 14. Texas A&M and Kennesaw State are also inside the Top 50.

The Course

Atlantic Beach Country Club will play as a par 71 at 6,868 yards.
