BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's tennis, coming off a historic 2025 season, will play a 20-match slate in 2026, working towards a return trip to the NCAA Tournament in May.
The Owls will welcome back five players, including junior
Panna Bartha, who has played on the top-two courts as an underclassman, as well as the doubles duo of
Malwina Rowinska and
Lara Smejkal, who were 16-5 a year ago.
FAU will open the season on January 16 at North Florida and will play four matches on the road over the next four weeks, before returning home February 13 to play host to Florida Gulf Coast at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center. The Owls will then play six matches before a seven-game homestand that features Yale, Boston, James Madison, East Tennessee, Harvard, DePaul and Tulane.
In all, the Owls will play nine home matches, six versus in-state foe and four versus fellow American Conference members.
