Coach Jakus Meets with Media on Wednesday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's basketball Head Coach John Jakus met with the media on Wednesday to discuss Thursday's matchup at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena before traveling for next week's Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Jakus spoke about Devin Vanterpool's 30-point performance on Monday night and the Owls' prep for three games in a six day span, going into the start of the 2025 Sunshine Slam. The tournament will begin with a home game against Pacific on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. FAU will then travel to Daytona Beach to face LMU on Monday, Nov. 24, at 8:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. They will end the tournament with a matchup against George Mason or Ohio.
