Florida Atlantic Returns to Walt Disney World for “Holiday Festiball”

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team will face UCF at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort as part of the "Holiday Festiball" on Tuesday, Dec. 23. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. with a broadcast partner to be announced at a later date.

Set amidst the festive atmosphere of Walt Disney World Resort, the "Holiday Festiball" will not only showcase top college basketball talent but also offer fans an unforgettable experience. The game will be played at the state-of-the-art State Farm Field House.

The Owls will make their return to Walt Disney World for the first time since 2023, where Florida Atlantic swept the ESPN Events Invitational with wins over two power conference opponents.

For the second straight season, Head Coach John Jakus' squad will match up against the Knights. Their last meeting on November 12 resulted in the Owls coming up just short by a score of 100-94.

The "Holiday Festiball" will include pre-game festivities, special Disney character appearances, and family-friendly entertainment — making it the perfect family holiday outing.
