BOCA RATON, Fla. – Head Coach
Lara Preacco and the Florida Atlantic swimming & diving teams have announced their meets for the 2024-25 season, beginning on Sept. 20. The full schedule can be viewed
HERE.
"I am excited and confident about our team and the season we will have this year; it will be fun and competitive", said Preacco. "The passion and determination our returning swimmers have demonstrated combined with the youth and competitiveness our incomers have shown us in the past month, leaves me with no doubt that we will be fast during our 2024-25 season, here at FAU. Go Owls !!!"
Both teams are coming of a strong 2023-24 that culminated in an individual appearance in the NCAA Diving Championships in back-to-back years for the first time in program history. The women's team participated in their second American Athletic Conference Championship and left with five medals.
In November of 2023, both the men and the women took first place in their respective fields at their midseason Patriot Invitational for the sweep and will look to see similar results in 2024.
