MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men's golf (863, -1) finished seventh at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Santa Clara (844, -20) won the team title. UTEP's Dylan Teeter and Elon's Jack Wieler tied for medalist honors at -9.

- NaShawn Tyson was under par for the second straight day to lead the Owls in the final round.
- The sophomore circled three birdies on his closing nine to sign for 71 and a tie for 12th at -4.
- Guilherme Grinberg equaled his teammate with a 71, but the journey there was very different.
- After going out in 35 (-1), the senior's back nine included two birdies and an eagle at the par-five 17th, balanced out with four bogeys adding up to even-par 36. Grinberg tied for 24th at -1.
- The Owls' low round of the day came from freshman Biagio Gagliardi with a two-under 70.

The Owls will try to defend their team title from last season at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic in Greenville, N.C., starting September 30.
