Herman, Sullivan, Jakus and White Welcome Class of 2028

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2024-25 Florida Atlantic school year is underway, and it opened Saturday evening with a student welcome held in FAU Stadium.
Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White welcomed the class of 2028 to the home of Owls football and encouraged the students to fill the seats where they were sitting in on Saturday, Sept. 7, when FAU plays host to Army West Point in a noon kickoff airing on the CBS Sports Network.
White was joined by fellow speakers Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman, Head Men's Basketball Coach John Jakus and Head Women's Basketball Coach Jennifer Sullivan.
Following the welcoming remarks, the students were treated to a laser and drone show, sponsored by the FAU Student Government.
Student-athletes will visit the stadium on Monday for the student-athlete welcome back.
