Team and Individuals Earn ITA Academic Recognition

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's tennis continues to excel, with three team members earning ITA All-Academic Team honors. The team also received the All-Academic Team honors, announced by the ITA this week.
Historically, the Owls have been a strong team academically, and they have continued to show their academic prowess with a team cumulative GPA above 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Team members who received individual honors were Lexi Silna, Millie-Mae Matthews, and Victoria Gomez O'Hayon. All three will return to the Owls for the 2024-25 season.
"This is a fantastic accomplishment for our team. Success on and off the court is stressed. It is nice to see that accomplished. The academic staff plays a huge role in our student-athletes success. We are excited for next year and look forward to continuing to build the team's culture of excellence.
