MARICOPA, Ariz. – Florida Atlantic women's golf has accepted an invitation to the second annual National Golf Invitational (NGI) taking place May 10-12 in Maricopa, Ariz. Similar to basketball's NIT tournament, the NGI will feature the best golf teams from across the country that did not receive a bid to NCAA Regionals.
Â
The NGI was contested for the first time in 2023 with Penn State taking home the inaugural title. This year, Ak-Chin Southern Dunes, located just south of Phoenix, will play host to a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event. The field is yet to be finalized but will include a maximum of 18 teams.
