Victoria Gomez O'Hayon's storied bid for the 2024 ITA Southeast Regional Championship ended on Monday with a three-set loss.
The event, hosted by Georgia Tech, saw Gomez O'Hayon earn a main draw opportunity; an opportunity that the redshirt junior from Estepona, Spain took and moved through the bracket, defeating opponents from Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, and UCF before falling to a Miami foe.
On Monday, Gomez O'Hayon fell to Miami's Raquel Gonzalez by a 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 score.
The Owls will next travel to the American Athletic Conference Individual Championship to be held later this week.
