Biagio Gagliardi sits at the top of the individual leaderboard after an opening 66 (-6). The event has been shortened to 36 holes due to continued heavy rain.

- In just his second collegiate tournament, Gagliardi posted a bogey-free 66 on Monday.
- The Italian circled three birdies on each side and is part of a three-way tie for first entering Tuesday's final round.
- Sophomore NaShawn Tyson is also inside the Top 10 after a three-under, 69.
- Tyson's scorecard included seven birdies highlighted by four in a row at the sixth-ninth holes.
- Tyson is tied for seventh after the first round.Â
