PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf (+46) finished 12th at the Sea Best Invitational hosted by Jacksonville University on Tuesday afternoon. Florida (+2) won the team event as no teams finished under-par. UNF's Robbie Higgins earned medalist honors at -5.
- As he did four times in the fall, Max Sturdza was the Owls' low finisher on the Dye's Valley course at TPC Sawgrass
- After rounds of 71 and 75 on Monday, Sturdza closed with a two-over 72 on Tuesday that featured three birdies. He placed T28 in the 84-player field.
- Freshman Andres Atrio also circled three birdies on Tuesday in route to a 74 and a tie for 43rd.
- Atrio was followed in the FAU lineup by Jack Wehle (T61, +14), Juan Delgado (T70, +19), and NaShawn Tyson (81st, +26)
The Owls return to action at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville on February 17 and 18.
