Owls Return to Gainesville

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will return to Gainesville to take part in the two-day Florida Collegiate Invitational from Friday, Jan. 26 – Saturday, Jan. 27.

This will mark the third straight and final Gainesville-based meet of the indoor track season.

Last Time Out

The Owls competed in the RADD Invitational from Jan. 19 – 20 and saw several new entries into the record books.

Freshmen Anna Rovirosa and Jessica Hatch recorded the top two times in program history in the 1000m. Rovirosa (2:56.28) and Hatch (2:56.55) finished in second and third place, respectively
Rosa Ten Berg (1:33.63) and Adrianna Mier (1:33.87) recorded the second and third best times in school history in the 600m
Anabell Reumann recorded the fifth best time in FAU history in the 3000m (9:56.68)
Promise Cross finished in fifth place with a time of 8.88 in the 60m hurdles, good for ninth in program history

The Owls will travel out of state for the first time this season to participate in two Boston-based events: the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday, Feb. 9 and the Eagle Elite Invitational from Feb. 9 – Saturday, Feb. 10.
