BOCA RATON, Fla. – Coming off an intense weekend with two meets in two days in two different locations, the Florida Atlantic University men's swim team has been rewarded with another weekly honor.Â
Â
Dalton Lillibridge has been named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.Â
Â
This is the eighth weekly award for the Owls this season, the sixth for the men's team, Lillibridge's first of the season and third conference honor during his time with Florida Atlantic.Â
Â
Competing intersquad on Nov. 3 at the University of Miami and in a home meet against the University of Toronto on Nov. 4, the graduate Lillibridge impressed in his signature swims: the 100 and 200 breast. He finished in first out of three in the 200 breast at the Miami meet with a time of 2:02.19 and took first place in the 100 breast (54.43) against Toronto and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team with a split of 24.49 in the total time of 1:28.48.
Â
Another award to the impressive Owls season brings momentum to a team that is gearing up for the midseason Patriot Invitational from Nov. 16 to Nov. 18
