Setsma Named AAC All-Tournament

BOCA RATON, Fla – Following the 2023 American Athletic Conference Championship tournament Molly Setsma was named one of the eleven all-tournament recipients announced by the league on Sunday evening.
The no. 7-seed Owls shutout the no. 2-seed Bulls on Tuesday night, Oct. 31. Setsma connected with a pass by Michelle Horan and scored the night's winning goal. The goal on Tuesday evening recorded a new career-high for Setsma. She was named AAC Weekly Honor Roll recipient the week of October 9.
On being selected as an all-tournament recipient Setsma said, "I'm extremely grateful for being selected to the all-tournament team. This honor would not have been possible without my amazing teammates and coaches and their constant support all season. Go Owls!".
This marks the first time in her career she has been named an all-tournament honoree.
