BOCA RATON, Fla. – Through two weeks of the 2023-24 regular season, the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team (2-1) remains in the Associated Press Top 25, as announced by the AP on Monday afternoon.Â

The Owls are ranked No. 19 in the nation following a 1-1 week highlighted by a crushing 100-57 victory over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 14, a game in which the team shot 63% from the field and 52% from beyond the arc. The top five scorers: Vlad Goldin (19),
Brandon Weatherspoon (16),
Giancarlo Rosado (13),
Brenen Lorient (13), and
Bryan Greenlee (12), combined to shoot for 82% (31-38).Â

Though the Owls fell to Bryant on Saturday night, 61-52, the night was keyed by a strong performance from
Johnell Davis, who recorded his fourth career double double with 17 points and a career-high tying 12 rebounds.

Florida Atlantic will spend Thanksgiving weekend competing in the eight-team ESPN Events Invitational, hosted at Walt Disney World. The first matchup will be against Butler on Thursday, Nov. 23, at 2:30 p.m.
