BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following a dominating 206-88 victory against Keiser over the weekend, Florida Atlantic University's men's swimming and diving team has swept the weekly Atlantic Sun Conference awards, as announced by the league on Tuesday.Â

Peyton Ming has been named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week while
Brandon Shepherd has earned Diver of the Week.Â

It is the second time of the season these two names have been honored together. Both swept the ASUN awards following their opening meet against Indian River on Sep. 22.

The Owls as a team continue to rack up awards, now up to six on the season, with diver
Trevor Kuhn and women's diver
Alicia Mora also previously earning a weekly conference honor.Â

Ming, junior from Lake Placid, N.Y, continues to shine in his first season with the Owls. In his latest meet, he took victories in the 100 back (50.21) as well as the 100 fly (49.38) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:29.52).

Shepherd, the junior from Fort Myers, has now earned his 10th weekly diving honor after posting scores of 289.28 on the 3-meter and 264.73 on the 1-meter.
The Owls will have a busy weekend ahead with a meet in Miami on Friday Nov. 3 and a meet against the University of Toronto on Saturday, Nov. 4.
