Owls Fall to the Mustangs

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's soccer fell by a 2-0 final to SMU in an AAC matchup on Thursday night.
The Owls went halftime scoreless as the Mustangs took the lead in the 22nd minute of the first half. Florida Atlantic now has a conference record of 2-2-1, fourth in the AAC standings. In the 87th minute, SMU scored another goal to extend their lead.
Goalkeeper Lexi Gonzalez registered five saves on the night.
