BOCA RATON, Fla. – Redshirt senior
Martina Kudelova captured her court one singles match 6-1, 6-2 firmly becoming Florida Atlantic University's all-time career singles matches played leader. Despite her efforts, the Owls fell 4-2 to Kansas State University on Sunday.
Kudelova has won 52 of the 86 matches representing FAU. She surpasses Pia Terol, who played at FAU from 2004-08.
Sophomore
Millie-Mae Matthews was down in her first set, but battled back to capture the first set 6-3 and then closed out her match, winning the second set 6-2. FAU's
Victoria Gomez O'Hayon was on the verge of capturing court five, up 5-4 in the second set, but K-State clinched the match before she could finish.
