The Owls are just coming off a split week that saw FAU earn its first C-USA sweep of the season with a 76-66 win over rival FIU, before falling in a road battle against North Texas, 75-59. FAU enters Monday's contest 10-5 overall and 3-3 in league play. The Owls are in their second year under head coach

The Owls are led by
Aniya Hubbard, who ranks eighth in C-USA with a team-best 13.8 points per game. Hubbard is averaging 48 percent from the field, while also ranking third on the team in rebounds pulling in 5.1 boards per contest. Hubbard paces the Owls in assists and steals, averaging 2.5 and 2.2 per contest, respectively.
Janeta Rozentale ranks second on the Owls in scoring, averaging 9.3 points per contest this season, shooting 43 percent from the field. Rozentale leads FAU on the glass, averaging 6.1 rebounds per game and blocks, denying 0.6 per contest this season.
As a team, the Owls lead the conference in 3-point percentage defense (.260), rank second in rebounding margin (5.6), rebounds per game (41.9), offensive rebounds per game (14.0) defensive rebounds per game (27.9), and fewest fouls per game (16.1), third in winning percentage (71.4), scoring defense (60.5), and field goal percentage defense (.380), fourth in steals per game (8.5) and turnovers forced per game (17.7), and fifth in free throw attempts per game (21.0).
WKU is currently on a three-game winning streak, taking victories over UTSA (77-69), UAB (75-71), and FIU (75-71). The Hilltoppers enter this week's matchup 7-8 overall and 4-2 in C-USA play. WKU is in its fifth season under head coach Greg Collins, who has amassed a 74-58 record over his half-decade in Bowling Green.
The Hilltoppers are led by Acacia Hayes, who is averaging a team-best 10.9 points per game this season. Jaylin Foster ranks second on the team in scoring, knocking down 9.5 points per game, but is the Hilltoppers' leader on the glass, pulling down a team-best 6.0 rebounds per game, and tying for a team-best five blocks this season. Foster has also collected a team-leading 2.1 steals per game. Alexis Mead is WKU's assists leader, dishing out a team-high 2.9 assists per contest.
As a team, WKU leads C-USA in steals per game (11.7) and 3-point attempts per game (28.9), second in 3-pointers made per game (8.4) and turnovers forced per game (20.0), third in offensive rebounds per game (13.9) and turnover margin (3.07), and fifth in scoring offense (67.9) and assists per game (12.9).
FAU is 3-23 all-time against WKU, including 2-10 all-time in Boca Raton. The Hilltoppers have won the last two meetings between the two teams, including a 72-69 overtime win on Feb. 10, 2022, in last meeting between the two programs in Boca Raton. The Owls last victory over WKU came on Feb. 6, 2021, which saw the Owls earn a 75-70 win over WKU in Bowling Green.
Following Monday's game, the Owls will continue their three-game homestand as they host the UTSA Roadrunners for a midweek battle on Thursday, Jan. 19 for a 7 p.m. tipoff inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
