Lillibridge & Shepherd Sweep Weekly CCSA Swimming & Diving Awards

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The FAU men's swimming & diving team has swept the first weekly Coastal Collegiate Sports Association awards of the season, as the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. Senior Dalton Lillibridge has been named CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week, while sophomore Brandon Shepherd has been named CCSA Men's Diver of the Week.

Lillibridge, in his debut meet with the Owls after transferring from Cincinnati, made his mark in the team's season opener against Indian River. He tallied two individual first place finishes, winning the 100 breast with a time of 56.08 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:05.94. He was also a member of the first place 'A' team in the 200 medley relay that finished with a time of 1:32.50

Shepherd led the way for the Owls in diving. He placed fourth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 261.44 and earned fifth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 232.20. This is Shepherd's fourth career CCSA Diver of the Week award after winning three in the 2021-22 season.

The FAU Swimming & Diving team is next set to compete in the TYR Fall Classic hosted by FIU on Oct. 7-8.
