Owls Prep for C-USA Championship

DALLAS (FAUSports.com) -- Brackets for the 2022 Heritage Landscape Supply Group C-USA Basketball Championships in Frisco, Texas have been set. The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team is the No. 3 seed from the C-USA East Division.
The Owls will play Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. CT in the second round of the tournament. FAU will face the winner of the Tuesday's UTSA vs. Southern Miss matchup. The Roadrunners and Golden Eagles were the No. 6 and No. 7 seeds in the C-USA West Division. See the full bracket by clicking the link above.
FAU defeated UTSAÂ 73-64 in San Antonio back on Jan. 29. The Owls defeated Southern Miss 84-57 one week later in Boca Raton. Wednesday's game will be telecast on ESPN+ and will be heard locally on Fox Sports 640 AM.
FAU is in the midst of an historic season in men's basketball. At 18-13 overall, the Owls have clinched their fourth straight winning season, a first in program history, under head coach Dusty May. In addition, FAU's 11-7 Conference USA record is a new high-water mark for the program in C-USA.
The Owls wrapped up the regular season this past Saturday with an 84-76 victory over FIU, behind 34 points from Alijah Martin.Â
Conference USA postseason awards will be announced Monday.
