STANFORD, Calif. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team (+5) is in 18th place after the second of three rounds at the Goodwin Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford. The event is being contested on the 6742-yard, par 70 Stanford Golf Course. Stanford (-20) leads the team standings by seven shots over SMU. UC Davis' Lucas Carper and Stanford's Karl Vilips are tied for the individual lead at nine-under.
- Max Sturdza followed up a first round 67 with an even-par 70 on Friday and will enter the final round in a tie for 24th. Sturdza recorded four birdies and four bogeys in the second round.
- Jake Hibbert posted the Owls' best round on Friday with a one-under, 69. He'll begin Saturday one shot behind Sturdza in a tie for 29th.
The Owls will tee off in the final round at 8:10 am pacific time on Saturday.
