Paisley Named Swimmer of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The awards keep coming for the FAU men's swim team. The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association announced on Tuesday afternoon that Timo Paisley has won swimmer of the week. This is the sophomore's first weekly award of his collegiate career and the eighth CCSA award of the season for the Owls.

The Owls competed over the weekend at the CSCAA Open Water National Championship in Miami. In a competitive 5K race with 15 schools and 83 swimmers, Paisley was among the very best, finishing in ninth place with a time of 56:24.79 and leading the team to a fifth place finish.

With the conclusion of the Open Water National Championship and Tuesday's FAU Fun Invite, the Owls have wrapped up the 2022 portion of their schedule. The divers will return to action on Jan. 3 at the Pre-Conference Diving Invite, while the rest of the squad will reconvene in Gainesville to compete against Florida on Jan. 13.
