FAU to Host Boca Raton MegaBowl Next Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The MegaBowl is coming to Boca Raton.
On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team will compete in the Boca Raton MegaBowl against Bryant, with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
The event is based on the famous 2008 sports comedy film 'Semi-Pro' starring Will Ferrell. Fans are encouraged to get to FAU Arena early on the 17th, as there will be a Semi-Pro themed poster giveaway for the first 200 people in attendance. There is also a photo opportunity with the famous eight-foot MegaBowl trophy.
The Boca Raton MegaBowl is expected to live up to the hype, with a talented Owl squad welcoming last year's NEC Champions in Bryant to Paradise. FAU is fresh off an impressive 81-46 win over Lynn in its season opener and has a two-game SEC road trip up next with games at Ole Miss and Florida.
