BOCA RATON, Fla. – Basketball season is approaching fast, and now fans of the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team can purchase season tickets to watch the Owls in Paradise this year.

FAU's first Conference USA game is at home against FIU on Dec. 17. The home finale will take place on Feb. 25 against UTEP. This year marks the final year for FAU as a member of Conference USA, as the Owls will join the American Athletic Conference in 2023.
The 2022-23 campaign is looking to be a promising one for FAU head coach Dusty May's Owls. After going 19-15 last year for FAU's fourth consecutive winning season, four out of the five Owl starters return in Alijah Martin, Michael Forrest, Bryan Greenlee and Vladislav Goldin. Martin was an All-Conference USA Third Team selection who led FAU in scoring at 13.9 points per game and rebounding at 5.3 boards per game. Forrest earned All-C-USA Honorable Mention and NABC All-District recognition after scoring 13.2 points per game.
In addition to a strong nucleus of returners, the Owls will feature a promising group of five newcomers highlighted by UCONN transfer Jalen Gaffney.
Playing in FAU Arena certainly gave the Owls a home court advantage last year, as FAU went 14-5 in Paradise and rattled off a 10-game home winning streak.
FAU displayed a high-octane brand of basketball last year, shattering a handful of school records. The Owls set single-season records in points (2,519) 3-pointers made (299) and field goals made (907).
