Practice Underway for Men's Hoops

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Wednesday saw the 2021-22 Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team take the floor for the first official day of practice, as the Owls prepare for the fourth year under head coach Dusty May.

The squad returns 11 letterwinners, three starters and the leading scorer from last year's 13-10 team, while adding in a quintet of newcomers. Michael Forrest paced the '20-'21 Owls at 12.5 points per game, and returning alongside him in the backcourt is Bryan Greenlee (10.0 points and a team-leading 3.0 assists per game).

The team hosts Lynn for an exhibition on Nov. 1, with the season opener eight days later – just 42 days from today – on the road at New Mexico. The first regular season home game is Nov. 13, hosting Warner on Abessinio Court at FAU Arena.
