DADE CITY, Fla. – The 91
st-ranked Florida Atlantic University women's golf team is ranked sixth through a round and a half of the Conference USA Championship, gaining contributions from three top-30 individuals.
Justine Fournand (+2) is the Owls' current leader at No. 15, with
Rosa Barnak (+4) and
Olivia Bergner (+4) just behind at No. 26. Â Barnak recorded a team-best even scorecard through the first nine holes of Round Two, persevering through tough conditions earlier in the day.
The second round was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but teams started it on Monday in anticipation of inclement weather the following day. Weather still affected Round One, however, as lightning in the Dade City area suspended play for nearly an hour. Â Â
FAU will finish Round Two of the C-USA Championship on Tuesday with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Live stats are available
here. The third and final round is scheduled for Wednesday.
