BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's volleyball team (1-6) was defeated 3-1 at Conference USA foe Old Dominion (6-4) on Monday. The weekend series was the first meetings between the two schools.
The Owls continue to be led by newcomer
Scherine Dahoue and sophomore returner
Camryn Vogler. The team's offense was led by
Stephanie Young and
MiaBella English, and defensively, freshman
Nikola Bartecka tallied seven blocks.
- Dahoue and Vogler had 12 kills each
- Young led the Owls with 19 assists and English recorded 15
- Defensively, Raine Lynch led a trio of players with 22 digs while Vogler and Young had 11 and 10, respectively
- Bartecka recorded four solo blocks and added three assists. Aniya Harvey and Alicia Hearn added three assists each
- Dahoue was credited with a team-high 13.5 points
