BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's golfer
Justine Fournand shot her first ever college hole-in-one in Round Three of the Florida Gators Invitational, helping to improve her ranking 18 spots (55th to 37th) from Day One. As a team, the Owls finished 12
th in the tournament at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Florida.
After posting an 81 in the first round, Fournand shot a 75 and 72 in Rounds Two and Three, respectively. Her three-round total was an 18-over-par 228.
Kim Egozi tied for 56
th with a 24-over-par 234, responding well from her 81 in the first round by shooting in the 70s the next two rounds.
Neff Nuggets
"This is a very young team and we just played a very challenging course (Mark Bostick) and competed at a great tournament," FAU coach
Aimee Neff said.
"We will learn from this event and it is only making us better prepared as we are just over a month away from [the Conference USA Championship]," Neff said. "We made small gains each round and will continue to work hard to be ready when we compete again."

FAU travels to Puerto, Vallarta Mexico for the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational at the El Tigre Golf Course. The three-day tournament begins March 19.
