ATHENS, Ga. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's diving team saw five different Owls compete over the last three days at the 2020 NCAA Zone B Championships.
Malvina Catalano punched a ticket to finals in both of her events, while
Taylor Downs and
Michael Cannatelli earned spots to the finals on the platform.

- Monday night got started with the women's 1-meter, where Catalano rounded out in 17th-place in the preliminaries (260.60) to become one of the 18 qualifiers to finals. In finals, Catalano finished in 17th with a combined score of 520.95
- Also in the 1-meter, Alicia Mora tallied 31st (232.05), while Downs finished 48th (205.95)
- On the men's 3-meter, Cannatelli earned 29th place (277.65) in hist first event at his first collegiate zones
- Logan Downey kicked off Tuesday night with a 31st place finish in the 1-meter.(240.60)
- On the women's side on the 3-meter, Catalano advanced to finals after gathering 15th place (282.35). In finals, the redshirt junior tallied 17th for a combined score of 544.75
- Mora captured 36th in the 3-meter (236.15)
- On the final day in Athens, Cannatelli moved on to finals following a 13th place showing in the platform prelims (276.55). The sophomore finished finals with a combined score of 517.95 to earn 16th place
- Downs moved on to platform finals following an 18th-place finish in prelims (224.15). She ended finals with a combined score of 446.60 to round out in 18th
