ATLANTA – The Florida Atlantic University women's swimming and diving team stands in third place halfway through the 2020 Conference USA Swimming & Diving Championships. The team has tallied 169 points thus far to take sole possession of third place.
- Spence Atkins began the night on a high note with a bronze medal in the 500 free. The senior tied for third place with a season-best time of 4:51.46
- Kirsten Hobson tallied 13th in the 500 free (5:00.29), while Holly Hopson captured 19th (5:04.38)
- Danica Garbett captured 12th in the 200 IM (2:03.69). Miranda Fellowes followed with a personal record time of 2:05.46 for 14th and Hailee Trotter rounded out the top-20 (2:08.22)
- In the 50 free, Abby Marshall finished 10th (23.36), Mackenzie Brown took 11th (23.47) and Fatimah Westbrook came in 14th (23.81)
- In the 3-meter finals, Malvina Catalano claimed sixth place (282.90). Taylor Downs had a huge night, capturing seventh in the finals with a big lifetime best score of 275.70. Alicia Mora tallied impressive scores in the B-final to finish with a lifetime best of 307.80 points to place ninth
- The 200 free relay team finished off the night just off the podium stand in the 200 free relay to place fourth (1:33.59). Marshall, Westbrook, Atkins and Brown were behind the finish
