The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team will see tournament action for a second consecutive week beginning Feb. 17. It's playing in the Louisville-hosted Moon Golf Tournament at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.
Stretching Feb. 17-18, participating teams will shoot 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday. The course is a par 72.
Outside of the Cardinals, ranked No. 38 nationally, and FAU, the field includes No. 9 Alabama, No. 50 Augusta, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, No. 31 Furman, Kansas, Kennesaw State, No. 21 Kentucky, Minnesota, No. 34 North Carolina, Ole Miss, Old Dominion, Seminole State and No. 35 UCF.
The Owls are staying in state, where they hosted - and finished fifth in - the FAU Winter Warm-Up at Boca Raton's Osprey Point Golf Course.
In last week's Winter Warm-Up, freshmen
Justine Fournand (6-over-par 22) and
Kim Egozi (9-over-par 225) stood out.
Fournand, Egozi and the team will tee off 8 a.m. Monday.
