Women's Golf Team Values: Amanda Leslie

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2020-21 Florida Atlantic University women's golf team has instilled three player-voted team values: responsibility, sportsmanship and discipline. Coach Aimee Neff's squad hopes to embody those values throughout the season.
This series will document the reasons why FAU's golfers chose the values they did, in their own words.
Senior Amanda Leslie, who owns the third best career stroke average (76.78) and second most par-or-less rounds (11) in program history, shares her thoughts this week:
"Hi, I'm Amanda on the FAU women's golf team," Leslie said. "This year we implemented our team values of responsibility, sportsmanship and discipline. They are three great characteristics that we believe – as a team, we came up with – that every individual should have, being on a successful team. So, responsibility to me is a big one because it shows who you are as a person, whether on the golf course or in the classroom or just in life, you need to have responsibility. Sportsmanship is great to have on a team because you need to be able to work with one another and just be able to cooperate with other people. Discipline, again, is just great to have on and off the golf course; in the classroom, it's just excellent. Those are our three team values, and I believe that once we achieve those, we'll be successful."
