FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team wrapped up the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sunday with a 15th place showing.

Coach Neff's Take

"It was good to see Justine play solid and great to see her birdie her last hole today to shoot 71. We have a ways to go as a team, but this was a premiere college tournament and I think opened our eyes to what it takes to get to that next level. We will work hard to prepare for the Jupiter Women's Invitational in a few weeks. We have a fair amount of youth with four underclassmen competing this week and I am thankful for the opportunity and experience it gave us. We will be better for it!"

The Owls carded a 305 on the day, putting them in 15th place overall. They finished just one stroke back from 14th placed Middle Tennessee
Justine Fournand was the top Owl for the weekend, finishing tied for 23rd overall. She had her best round of the tournament on Sunday, shooting a 71
Rosa Barnak finished tied for 56th place, carding a 76 on the final day
Arielle Keating made moves with her a pair of 75's in the final two rounds of the tournament. She finished tied for 69th
Kim Egozi shot an 83 for the final day and Kayla Longo carded a 90

Up Next

The Owls will take a few weeks off before continuing the fall season with the Jupiter Women's Invitational. FAU will be the host school for that tournament and the championship runs October 14 and 15.
