FAU Beach Volleyball Ranked 20th in AVCA Preseason Poll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – On the strength of an 18-15 campaign in 2018, the Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team is ranked 19th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) preseason poll.
The Sandy Owls posted back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in program history and sent two teams to the National Pairs Championship in Hermosa Beach, California.
Entering her fifth year, Head Coach Capri Grotowski returns seven starters, including CCSA Co-Freshmen of the Year Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris, who went 25-7 as a pair in 2018.
FAU will officially open its 2019 season at home on February 23 and 24 for the Paradise at the Burrow Tournament.
