Sigourney Kame Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Senior Makes All-Academic Team for Second Time in Her Career
BOCA RATON, Fla. - For the second time in her career, Florida Atlantic University outside hitter Sigourney Kame has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team. Kame made the team in 2017 as a sophomore.
Kame is averaging 2.46 kills per set this season and is among the program's all-time leaders in career kills (3rd, 1,171) and career hitting percentage (7th, .279). Off the court, she holds a 3.89 GPA as an exercise science and health promotion major and was named a Senior CLASS Award candidate earlier this season.
FAU will travel to Houston, Texas, for this weekend's C-USA Tournament as the No. 5 seed and will play fourth-seeded Marshall at 3 p.m. Eastern on Friday, Nov. 22. The contest will air on ESPN+ and links to live stats will be available at fausports.com.
